Question –
So, drink specials. Does that mean we are paying $10 this year and then no free beer along the way?
Please Clarify.
Thank you!

Thanks for your question and hopefully I can clarify it. We will have drink specials along the way so in essence there is no free beer due to “new” legal issues that require us to pay for the beer. With that we are working out specials with the bars such that we are hoping to get $1-$2 tap specials most likely depending on the beer. The $10 covers the costs of t-shirts and allows us to make a few dollars to donate back to COA.
I hope that answers your question and you’re still willing to attend. We realize this isn’t ideal but due to new laws, we cannot pay for all the beer.

Are tickets going to be for sale before the pub crawl? If so, where? thanks

So, last year there was food at most of the bars. Can we look forward to the same kind of thing this year.

I’ve heard of this pub crawl. Didn’t it start a few years ago? Does anyone know who started it?

Andy,
It started about 10 years or so ago by someone who lived in the area. I am not sure who the original “owner” was but another Riverwest neighborhood native continued to plan it for a number of years after that and continues to be involved in the planning although the Kiwanis club manages a portion of it as well.
